Initially, I was apprehensive since I had never heard of "Dymo". Checked out their website and seems like they're into this business for many years! Oh those good ol' days when we had rotating letter spindle guns to make labels!Pros: - Beautiful design. This is one sexy looking label printer. - The orange back light helps in dimly lit situations. Annoyingly, it turns off after 10 seconds or so and there is no way to adjust it. - It fits well in my hand. The paper cutter is accessible with the right thumb. - Printing resolution is excellent. I can print symbols and such without any problems. - PC/Mac compatibility. Hook it up with a supplied USB cable (yes, it comes with it!). Go to My Computer and open the disk drive. Launch the .exe file. No installation! - Excellent additional software. Download it from their website (Dymo Label v8)... I need opportunity to print labels on the narrow tape too. So that model gives lots of flexibility for the different tasks.
